Toronto video game developers and enthusiasts alike need not struggle to make plans over the next few days. First, a game jam inspired by a parody twitter account based on the famed game designer Peter Molyneux (Fable, Black and White) will be taking place this weekend March 30th – April 1st). Amusingly dubbed What Would Molydeux, the jam will be bringing together communities from across 24 cities to make games based on the antics of @petermolydeux. More information on how to participate in that here, but that’s not all…

On Monday, April 2nd OCAD University and the University of Toronto will be hosting on showcase of the best and brightest student games from six distinct Toronto campuses (Humber, Seneca, OCADU, UofT, George Brown and UOIT). The full details are below. Be sure to check it out!

And if that wasn’t enough – it would also be remiss to fail to mention the Distant Worlds Final Fantasy tribute concert going on this Saturday at the Sony Centre with NOBOU UESMATSU in attendance!

Now you have no excuse to say you have no plans this weekend.
