The Difference Engine Initiative: The Infographic!

Difference Engine Initiative participant and coordinator Una Lee recently produced a neat infographic on the impact the project has had on both its participants and in turn the game design community at large. A TIFF Nexus jam in partnership with The Hand-Eye Society, the initiative involved two six-week game incubators for first-time women developers that culminated in a presentation at TIFF Nexus’ Women in Film, Games and New Media Conference. As Una Lee points out in her and in the infographic itself:, “the ripple effect of the DEI has been extraordinary, with participants pursuing careers in game development, creating new community initiatives, and making more games.”
